Small-Group Overview

This document details the role and approach of the small-group leaders and should be given to the small-group leaders by the third team meeting.

Who can be a small-group leader?

Due to the responsibilities of the various team jobs, not all team members can serve as small-group leaders. This document details by team job, who can and cannot serve as a small-group leader.

Small-Group Information Sheets

This document is used to gather the contact information from each small-group member so that the small-group leader can contact a group member during the training if needed. Each printed sheet contains two information sheets.

Small-Group Leader Information Sheets

This document is filled out by the small-group leader with his or her contact information so that a small-group member can contact his or her leader during the training. Each printed sheet contains three information sheets.

Small-Group Roster

This document is used to record the members of each small group during the training and will be filled out by team members after the first small-group session on Friday afternoon. Print three copies. Once they are completed, give one completed copy to the trainers and one to the captain.

Introduction Process

This document is used during the first small-group session on Friday. Each small-group member will stand, introduce themselves to his or her group, and then answer the four questions. Print at least one for each small-group leader plus a few extras for the trainers to reference.

Participant Victim Process

This document is used in a small-group session on Friday evening. Each small-group member will stand and answer the four questions.Print at least one for each small-group leader plus a few extras for the trainers to reference.

Red-Black Debrief

On Sunday morning, after completing the Red-Black game, the small groups will gather and each participant will have the opportunity to answer the four questions on this sheet. Print at least one for each small-group leader plus a few extras for the trainers to reference.

Next Big Risk

This document will be used Sunday afternoon within the small-group context to help each individual make a decision about the next big risk he or she is willing to take in order to have something new in life.Print at least one for each small-group leader plus a few extras for the trainers to reference.

Small Group Time Tracker

The time keeper will use this document on Friday and Sunday to track questions and time during various small-group processes.
